“At the Koinagas waterhole close to Namutoni a lion pauses to reflect on his actions after falling into the water when trying to leap across to the reed island in the centre where his mate was lying obscured by the reeds. Not only did he fall into the water on the first leap but he repeated his action when he leapt back across! After drying off somewhat he seemed to be considering what to do next and no doubt feeling a little humiliated he thought the best course of action would be to go and take a nap!” – Paul B. Dixon
