“Cheetah are diurnal animals which means they are active during the day when they will hunt for prey. To enable them to spot their prey easier they will often use an elevated position such as a rock or termite mound and occasionally a tree to scan the horizon for their next potential meal. This cheetah was doing exactly that but on this occasion it didn’t result in a hunt but I’m sure it wasn’t the end of the story.” – Paul B. Dixon
